Our Core values reflect the culture and identity of our church. These values fit within each other, and cannot stand alone. We are a people committed to experiencing the presence of Jesus in our midst and in our lives. We do this together in community, where we can be fully known and fully loved, propelling us to invite the lost into this newness of life.
Lead Pastor
Lead Pastor/Planter Jonathan Billips was born and raised on the Central Coast of California. After a rough childhood, the Lord saved him as a young adult and captured his heart for the Great Commission. This lead him to live Turkey for three years, where he served the Lord in church planting and met his wife, Marisa. After returning to the states, the Lord grew a burden in his heart to reach his home state and this lead him to the church planting residency with the Village Church in Flower Mound, Texas, where he was trained and equipped to plant New Creation Church. Jonathan is passionate to see the nations enter into the Kingdom of God, to see the Father’s love experienced, and to see the unreached engaged with the gospel. Jonathan and Marisa have two children, Makaiah and Jeremiah.
Leadership
Sending Churches
New Creation Church is planted by the joint efforts of King’s Church in Lewisville, Texas and the Village Church in Flower Mound, Texas. Jonathan served as a pastoral resident with King’s and a church planting resident with the Village.
Partner Churches
121 Community Church in Grapevine, TX has partnered with us from the beginning of this process. Marisa Billips served on staff at one point, and the Billips Family were both sent out by 121 as Global Missionaries when they lived overseas
Missional Partners
New Creation Church partners with Send Network and Acts 29. Send Network is a church planting Network affiliated with the North American Mission board, and Acts 29 is a church planting network with shared theological values committed to planting churches worldwide.
