We affirm the historic creeds of the Early Church, the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith, the Baptist Faith and Message (2000). In addition to these creeds, the following are the beliefs of New Creation Church:
Doctrine of Scripture
We believe that scripture is the infallible, inerrant, and authoritative word of God.
Doctrine of The Triune God
We believe in One God, Yahweh, eternally existent in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Doctrine of God the Father
God the Father is the Father over the Lord Jesus Christ, and the source of all things. He is the creator, sustainer, savior, and judge of the universe.
Doctrine of Jesus Christ
Jesus of Nazareth is the Eternal Son of God, God in the Flesh, and the Messiah foretold in the Scriptures. He died to take the punishment for our sins and rose again on the third day to deliver us from death. He is exalted to the right hand of God and will come back to judge the living and the dead.
Doctrine of The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. At Salvation, the Believer is Baptized into and indwelt by the Holy Spirit, sealing them for salvation. He also empowers them with various giftings for the fulfillment of ministry, according to the will of God
Doctrine of Sin
We believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The penalty for our sin is death and eternal separation from God, which was not the original design for humanity
Doctrine of Salvation
We believe that Salvation is offered to sinful humanity by the grace of God alone, through faith in Jesus Christ, and not of works.
Doctrine of Election
We believe that God has predestined his people for salvation before creation. He draws sinners to Christ, justifies them, sanctifies them, and preserves them to the end.
Doctrine of the Church
The Church is the assembled New Covenant people of God from every nation, tribe, and tongue.
Doctrine of the Sacraments
We believe that the Lord Jesus ordained two sacraments for the church, baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Doctrine of Last Things
We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to judge the world, give eternal life to his people in new creation, and judge the wicked.
